Our manufacturing journey, which began in 1976, reached its 50th anniversary in 2026 and continues with a focus on quality and innovation.
At Söğüt Plastik, we manufacture plastic pipe and fitting systems under the SPK brand. We began in Istanbul in 1976 as a maker of plastic moulds. The knowledge and experience we gained in mould making gave us a strong foundation for our subsequent work in the plastic pipe industry.
In 1988, we became Turkey’s first manufacturer of PPR pipes and fittings. We made our first PPR export shipment in 1990, beginning to bring our products to international markets.
In 1995, we played an active role in the work leading to the first TSE certificate for PPR pipes. The Turkish Standards Institution (TSE) first carried out the work to adapt the standard used abroad into a Turkish standard in our laboratory.
We added PP drainage systems to our range in 1999. In 2010, we established our metal production facility, adding a new area of expertise to our manufacturing operations. We began producing PE-RT underfloor heating pipes in 2015.
These investments helped us expand our range to include PPR water supply, PE-RT heating, PP and PVC drainage, S-PP silent drainage systems, and our metal valve range. Our metal valve range includes gas valves, radiator valves and manifolds. At each stage, we took practical installation needs and our customers’ expectations into account.
Our in-house mould workshop and more than 1,200 moulds have helped us preserve and develop the manufacturing expertise on which our company was founded. Making our own product moulds allows us to manage the process directly, from mould to finished product. We see this continuity as an important part of maintaining consistent product quality.
We base our quality management approach on ISO 9001:2015 and place importance on our products’ conformity with the relevant standards. The conformity documents and test reports for our product groups support our customers’ technical assessments and product selection.
We have built long-standing relationships with dealers and industry professionals in Turkey, and with importers and distributors in international markets. Alongside product quality, we have valued clear communication, prompt dispatch and keeping our commitments. We continue to work with the same sense of responsibility and care for our partners’ lasting trust.
