Unobjectionable by hygiene:
All the installation pieces related to drinking water are subject to DIN 1988 T2 in the food subctance and food area.The hygiene feature of SPK pipes and fittings emanates from Polypropilene Co-polymer non-color , taste, and odor, containing no poisonous or canserogene additives threatening especially the human health.
Sound insulation:
SPK pipes and fittings have a sound installation value peculiar to them.This feature provides a preventing impact of the flows and current noise to transmit to the nearby or next pipe pieces.Therefore, they are more practical compared to metal pipe installations.

Chemical resistance:
PPRC is resistant to many solvents up to 60ºC.They create swelling effect from halogenized hydrocarbons and some oils and wax.The swelling is mild up to 30ºC.It has limited or very low resistance to such powerful oxidizing substances as nitrous acid,ozone,foamed sulphuric acid,hydrogen peroxide or halogen.In determining the resistance to chemical substances,the test saples are submerged into the test substances without mechanical stress , and then they are tested for swelling, weight loss and shrinking qualities.
Physiological qualities:
PPRC is physiologically accepted in line with regulatory provisions related to consumption substances, and its additives are in conformity with the current VII.Recommendation of the Federal Health Department of Berlin by type, quantity and pureness,and therefore it has been accepted physiologically.
Resistance against UV rays:
In installed state, pipes made from PPRC used in cold and hot water utilities are not exposed to UV rays.A stabilizer is added to the pipes in order for them tos tay in outdoors for six months.As in the SPK pipes, the transportation and storage is recommend in their original packing.
Shock effect:
SPK pipes made fPolipropilen Random Co-polimer are conforming to the requirements in DIN 8078 Section 3.5 related to shock resistance test (under 0ºC ).Its vulnerability to shocks increases under temperatures below the freezing point.In general ,this situation applies to all types of Polipropilen pipes.Against shocks, throwing out the pipes or pipe couplings from vehicles or similar practices should be avoided.
Quality and reliability:
SPK pipes and fittings have TSE quality certificates from the Turkish Institute of Standarts.TS 9937 Polipropilen pipes- General purpose quality specifications; TS 10595 Polipropilenden pipes- dimensions; TS 11451 Polipropilenden pipes-Quality specifications for hot water and floor heating systems; and TS 11755 Polipropilen pipe coupling pieces. Any failures arising out of material defects will be redressed by the mnufacturer company.
