LONG DURABİLİTY:
In order to dalay failures due to oxidation it has turned into longdurable by adding antioxidant substance.
SHOCK RESİSTANT:
Due to it flexibility it is resistant to any external shocks. Due to it natural structure it is a shock absorber.
UNEFFECTED FROM HOT WATER:
It is a material resistant to hot water in hight temperatures. It maintains all its physical qualities up to 90°C.
IMFLAMMABLE:
Due to the polypropylene and additional substances it has no flammable property. It burns slowly under open flame by itself . The burning speed is slow: within one minute only 2,5 cm of the pipe gets burned.
RESİSTANT TO ULTRAVİOLET İNFLUENCE:
By reinforcing the material with ultraviolet stabilizer againstthe effects of ultraviolet influence is taken for the color difference and shrinking resistance that may occurin time.
CHEMİCAL RESİSTANT:
Provided that there is no exterionr mechanical application and no internal pressure under 20°C weak acids have no effect, strong acids have slow effects.
SOUND İNSULATION:
It has sound insulation quality. It is hightly efficient agains various resonace and sounds created by direct hits. Therefore it can be safety used for flush waste water applicatiıns.
ENVİROMENTAL CONFORMİTY:
Due to polypropylene material it does not contain chlorine and any other substances which may cause cancer.
EASE OF CARRYING:
Due to it specific gravity it is light. It can be carried and installed easily.
CONSTRUCTING THE WASTE PIPE INSTALLATION
Laying the waste pipes: The installation of waste pipes usually begins from the vertical pipes that are called as columns.Laying the column is started fom the lowemost storey where the fitting pipe starts, and is continued upwards. However ,coupling edges should be left at appropriate height for the pipes that will extended out from the storeys. The column must be installed vertically .That is , the pipes should have no offsets as much as possible. The waste pipes are installed at open or in the grooves inside the walls that are leftbeforehand. If the grooves in the walls are not covered with galvanized panes, then open installation should be preferred. The horizontal distance of the outermost consumption place should not exceed 2 m from the vertical pipe which is ventilated. If this distance is more than 2 m , or the lenght of the fitting peace connecting the consumption place to the vertical pipe is more than 5 m, then it is necessary to enlarge the diameter of the fitting peace ,or to lay a separate vantilation pipe on the same elevation with the fitting piece up to thr roof.It is also possible to extend the ventilation pipe up the highest consumption place connected to this column, and connect it there. To fix the pipe on the wall at storey heights more up to 3 m, a union joint is used at the midpoint of that height. If the storey is too high, two or more union joints may be used depending on the height. The waste pipes traveling through locations that are outside the illuminated parts of the building must absolutely be fixed with union joints.
Ventilation pipes: There should be sufficient amount of ventilation pipes in waste water installations. For ventilation, each elevation pipe is , without narrowing ,laid up to the roof by preserving the section at the top storey. Many vertical pipes that are alongside each other may be jointly ventilated over the pipe running near the highest consumption location. In this case , the elevation of the ventilation pipe will be about half of all the vertical pipe elevations , but in every case it should be selected as one size larger than the largest vartical pipe. The ventilation pipes should be laid vertically.Even in unfavorable situations ,their incline should not drop below 60 degrees. If a ventilation pipe passes along living rooms or bedrooms, in order to avoid annoyance of the residents, it should be raised up to 1m over the window of a room,or must be laid at least 2 meters away of the window.(This is the case especially for the lofts, which are also called as panorama)
The under ceiling or fitting pipes and toilet ,drainer ,sink couplings: The under ceiling coupling pipes are the pipes that take the waste pipes of the next upper storey, bring it to the column and run it through all the lower storey as partly or wholly open. These pipes should be installed as clean ,and suitable to the construction location. It is possible to eliminate the anxiety of the construction owners by realizing a clean workmanship. It is not correct to cover these pipes with wood, etc.Because ,when these are removed for reparation purposes they take an ugly outlook. The pipes should be installed in the shortest way possible, and by mounting on the floor piece by piece, and only the necessary parts should be joined together at the ceiling.Example: Consider the installation in the illustration. The under ceiling pipe is mounted everywhere by dividing it into A,B and C parts.First the part A between the 4.th and 7.th muffs is prepared on the floor as explained above, then it is raised and inserted through the branching muff on the exit column (s 4).This piece (H) is adjusted so as to bring the edge of the muff (H) completely vertical. When the pipe is brought into this situation,it is hanged to the ceiling with a union joint .After that, the sealing of the number 4 muff is placed and the mounting is performed. The same procedure is applied to the mounting of parts B and C.The muffs shown in black in the illustration are those muffs that must be mounted under the ceiling .After the vertical columns , the nearest part of the waste pipe coupling pieces to a column is mounted.(Part A of the illustration ).This is usually the water closet connection. The water closet connection is so fixed as to be directly inserted into the muff when settled. And so as not to require a second piece .In bathrooms, toilets, and similar places the installation is inclined 1 cm per meter in every direction towards the floor drainer. In such places as public baths, laundries , etc. where the water should run quickly ,a flow offset about 1.5-2 cm should be left.
Main Pipes: After the installation of columns and under ceiling pipes, installation of pipes at the basement,or under the ground is started.Next comes the main pipes to be installed under the soil , or at the basement , or under the ground. All the pipes installed under the soil or at the basement , and used for discharging all the waste water coming through various storeys are called as main pipes. The horizontal pipes may be installed with minimum 1/100 and maximum 1/10 incline.
In pipes having less than 1/100 inclination, the accumulating dirt and waste water clogs the pipe.In pipes having an inclination more than 1/10,the water runs away and lefts the dirt behind, thereby clogging the pipe again. The inclination should stay about 1/50,unless no other options exist.
The main pipes must be installed at a depth enabling to take-in all the waste water of the building and at least in 80 cm depth to prevent freezing. In basements ,they must be installed at least 10 cm below the floor covering. If it is necessary to move the main pipes by short offsets around wall projections or chimneys , cleaning pieces should be placed at the part of the pipe that comes after the pipe, and next to the offset. The offsets should be as much as possible open.Apart from this , a cleaning piece should be placed on every column right above the location where it connects to the pipe.
CONDUCTS AND APPLICATION ERRORS NOT COVERED BY THE WARRANTY
-Prevent heavy strikes , and hits at the tips of the pipe.
-Do not use damaged pipes or pipes having fractures in their cutting place.
-Prevent heavy strikes, and hard items falling on them.
-Place carefully.
-Do not heat in open fire.
-Do not mount dirty pipes and pieces.
-Do not mount the pipe and fittings without sealings.
-Perform the cutting by pipe scissors and saw.
